[Bobbie blinks at Clara, uncomprehending.]

Oh, sorry. I figured it'd gotten around.

[She tilts her head within reach, and taps on the underside of her jaw, right where her pulse should be, but isn't.]

[Bobbie studies her for a second longer, then presses her fingers against Clara's pulse point, her eyes widening.]

[She pulls back a little, tucking her hair behind her ears in a self-conscious gesture.]

[Okay, this is kind of a big deal, but Bobbie can't help it. She lets out a surprised laugh.]

[The laugh is a relief, and Clara lets herself grin.]

Well, that's the part where I found out who he was, and Amos went and punched him.

How'd you figure out it was Frank?

Amos did. He'd only told two people about it, and the other was Alex.

[And Frank is incommunicado, at this point. Probably still nursing his face and his pride.]

[Bobbie swipes the shot glass and bottle from Clara and pours her another before sliding both back.]

[Clara lets out a tiny laugh of a breath.]

[She tosses it back the best she can, wincing when it goes down. Shit, is this stuff actually for first aid?]

I don't think Amos gives a shit what anyone else thinks, if that's what you're worried about.

[Bobbie grins, then slides her glass over.]

Well. [Clara pours another shot, and passes it back.] He was alright for a guy.
