to her, putting them in his lap. ]
Better. Almost looks like it's old self again, but it's still pretty damn
stiff. [ He doesn't move to show her, though, and his hand is still
wrapped up. At least it's obviously a fresh wrapping. ]
[ He also doesn't move to rush her. Instead he just leans into her
as she leans against him, and presses a warm - but scratchy - kiss to her
forehead. ] Don't you go worryin' about me. I got off light.
That's about the thick of it, yeah. [ He sounded amused, like he was
making fun of himself. ]
I'm perfectly capable of feelin' pretty damn sorry for myself when
required, but it ain't, at the moment. I'm alright, and I'm feelin' better.
Soon this'll just be another mildly traumatic memory an' nothin' more.
